The international transfer-market season keeps on going at Mkers, this
time with an incoming transfer. Following the departure of Gemini, Rainbow Six Pro Player,
who was permanently transferred to G2 Esports, Mkers announces the arrival of the multiple
world champion Surgical Goblin, directly from Team Liquid, to strengthen the Clash Royale
team.
Famous worldwide for his tactical skills and technical precision, Frank "Surgical Goblin"
Oskam, born in 1999, is one of the most successful players of the Supercell title. Since
February 2017, starting with Team Queso, then moving to Vodafone Giants and eventually
landing at Team Liquid, he has won all the major competitions, including two World
Championships, the CRL Invitational, and the CRL West Spring Season, just to name a few.
In 2020, despite having the most prestigious international track record, Surgical decided to
retire from the competitive Clash Royale scene.
Since then, the Supercell title has changed and evolved, with the competitive circuit
expanding to significant proportions, rivaling the esports arenas of the most acclaimed titles.
Thus, in August 2022, Frank decided to make his comeback to the competitive arenas after
a two-year break, immediately proving that he had not lost an ounce of the skills and
professionalism that made him one of the most successful and renowned professionals
worldwide.
Now, the Dutch champion has chosen to join the ranks of Team Mkers, inspired by the vision
and passion that characterize the Mkers Clash Royale Team.
Very important will also be the contribution Surgical will bring to the Mkers Fam, Mkers’
network of content creators that currently counts about 40 creators. The nearly 2 million
aggregate followers of the champion, coming for the most part from USA, Latin America and
Europe, will be added to the Fam’s 5 million, significantly increasing the fanbase and the
international influencer reach, a cornerstone of Mkers’ strategy as a media company.
This move represents a significant milestone in Surgical Goblin's career, and Team Mkers is
eager to support his development and contribute to his success.
Diego Hicham Aazzi, Mkers Esports Manager, stated:
"For Mkers, this operation not only represents an important step towards the international
presence in the Clash Royale competitive scene, but also shows the value and the
international influence it has achieved, such to make a Tier-1 top-level Pro Player and
content creator to choose our Team for his upcoming competitive commitments."
Through a combination of talent, hard work and dedication, Team Mkers has indeed earned
a reputation as a top-tier team in the international esports landscape, and the arrival of
Surgical Goblin serves as proof.
Hicham concludes: "We at Team Mkers, just like Surgical, are excited to embark on this new
adventure together. Frank is eager to wear our colors and demonstrate his worth to
contribute to the growth and glory of the team."
