Mkers Revolutionizes its organizational structure

March 17, 2025

Roma 17.03.2025 - Starting this year, Mkers will adopt a more solid and structured organizational framework to support business growth and respond more efficiently to market demands. The new workforce will integrate several departments: Administrative, Executive, Creative, Esports, and Business Development.

Newly appointed professionals include a Senior Account & Project Manager, an Event & Activation Specialist, a Digital Marketing Specialist, a Content Manager, and a Partnership & Sponsorship Manager. These key roles will support Mkers' growth ambitions and consolidation in the global landscape.

Regarding creative direction and competitive sector management, Marco Fresta and Diego Hicham Aazzi have been confirmed in their respective roles.

Investments in Technology and AI

Innovation is at the core of Mkers' strategy, aiming to integrate artificial intelligence into its operational workflows. Through customized tools, AI will be used to analyze data and optimize internal processes. This will enable more effective management of talents, competitions, and engagement strategies, thereby enhancing the experience for clients and partners.

A strategic asset will be the Escout.gg platform—an innovative and unique solution in the esports sector dedicated to scouting and talent management. Based on blockchain and AI, it will regulate player transfers and provide an objective performance evaluation system.

Professionalism and Talent for a New Paradigm

With this evolution, Mkers aims to position itself as a key player in the gaming industry, thanks to a team of professional marketers, experienced managers, and visionary creatives. The goal is to transform esports into an increasingly structured and professional industry.

Italy is the fourth-largest gaming market in Europe—after the UK, Germany, and France—with a turnover of €3.5 billion in 2023 (exceeding the film industry’s €500 million and the music industry’s €440 million). Mkers is determined to go beyond the stereotype of video games as mere youth entertainment, elevating the sector into a highly competitive and strategic ecosystem for businesses.

A recent market study conducted by the strategic consulting firm Deloitte (2024 edition of Let’s Play!) highlights the increasing relevance of esports in popular culture. The audience for this type of content is expanding beyond just a male demographic from Generation Z and Millennials.

"Mkers is proof that esports can be a real career opportunity, combining passion and expertise. We have invested over €2.5 million in developing Pro Players and new professionals, training talents who are now fully integrated into the job market, including major companies. Especially in Italy, it is crucial to restore credibility to a sector often associated with amateurs unable to meet the needs of brands and institutions. I am confident that our new structure will further enhance competence and quality," stated Paolo Cisaria, Managing Director of Mkers.
